Jeanyi Kim is Associate Concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Concertmaster of the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra. In 2007, she was Guest Assistant Concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Colin Davis and Valery Gergiev. Kim is a founding member of the Philomusica Quartet, and has appeared (with Quintessence) in the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series in Chicago. She holds a Doctorate from Yale University. Her teachers include Erick Friedman and Berl Senofsky. Jeanyi Kim has a 2012 Curtin copy of the “Vieuxtemps” Guarneri del Gesu.
