David de la Varga Rojo, Violin

David de la Varga Rojo is concertmaster of the Orquesta de Cámara Eutherpe and professor at the Escuela Municipal de Musica de León in León, Spain. He began his musical training as a child singer in the Schola Cantorum of Leon´s Cathedral in Spain, then took up violin with Russian violinist Arkady Futer. In 2002, he graduated from the Conservatory “Eduardo Martinez Torner” of Oviedo. From 2004-2006 he studied in London with Natalia Lomeiko at the Royal College of Music. Rojo performs regularly as a soloist, chamber musician, and teaches master classes. He has performed on a Joseph Curtin violin since 2013.
