Téa Prokes has been associate concertmaster of the Toledo Symphony since 2014. Her many solo appearances with the orchestra include works by Vaughn Williams, Vivaldi, and Schnittke, and in 2019, the world premiere of the Beatles Concerto. She has also appeared as soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra, the Amherst Symphony, and the Clarence Summer Orchestra. Téa enjoys supplementing her orchestral career with as much chamber music as possible, and is frequently featured on the Toledo Symphony chamber music series. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she now lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and teaches from a home studio there. Téa Prokes plays a 2018 Joseph Curtin violin.
