Davis Brooks is Professor of Violin at Butler University, Interim Concertmaster of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, and a founding member of the Chicago 21st Century Music Ensemble and the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. He was a member of the Mostly Mozart Orchestra at Lincoln Center for ten years, and of the New York Chamber Symphony for nineteen. Dr. Brooks has released two solo CDs, one called Violin and Electronics, the other featuring the violin music of composer C. P. First. Davis Brooks plays a 2003 Joseph Curtin violin.
